Making your own 3D printable models

Yes, you bought a new 3D printer and you have been finding free models on the internet to print. It works. In fact, there are many free and useful models already available on the internet, for free. It’s amazing. But if you get tired of always using someone else’s models, you might want to make your own.

No, you don’t need to be an artist to make your own models. You don’t even need to know 3D CAD software like Meshmixer or Fusion 360. You can simply find someone to design it for you.

The price depends on the item you need designed. If you pay someone to design a simple part, but it’s high in demand and not complex, you could have a very profitable product. If you want a personal figurine or item designed, that works too.

Of course, in the long-run you will want to learn how to use CAD software. With some knowledge of programs like Meshmixer you can make fun and useful changes to 3D objects that already exist.

Here is a model I had designed. Click on the image to check it out. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Tstuch
